Responsibilities :
- The application support analyst is in charge of maintaining, identifying, and defining enhancements to current applications and their operating environments, as well as making recommendations for improvements. To do this, they must have a solid understanding of app support procedures and concepts as well as a foundational knowledge of other technical areas.
- Analyses the logic of the current system, then utilises evaluative judgement to suggest improvements or corrections.
- Creates and defines the scope and goals of modifications using research, fact-finding, and a fundamental knowledge of business practises and industry standards; documents the needs.
- Partners with the necessary production and development support departments.
- Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, showing particular regard for the company's reputation and protecting Citigroup, its clients, and its assets. To do this, one must ensure compliance with all laws, rules, and policies that may be relevant, adhere to the Policy, exercise sound moral judgement when it comes to one's own conduct and business practises, and escalate, manage, and disclose control issues in a transparent manner.
